My friends, we are living in a very late hour. One that many are not aware of or are aware of but refuse to acknowledge. Many things are running rampant in this final hour. Things like, murder, rape, molestation, and suicide. Many leaders in the church have found ways to side step suicide among their congregation.
Others have twisted Holy Scripture to satisfy the heartache of someone they loved who had committed suicide by using what you just read as an example. The Truth is this, you must receive the forgiveness of Jesus Christ He paid for you over 2,000 years ago before it is too late.
The hour is late and the days are getting darker because the return of Jesus Christ is nigh. But before His return there will be tribulation the world has never seen. There will be a leader who will arrive on the scene who will seem to be the answer to the world problems but will be nothing but the biggest fraud, ever.
You will not be able to see the Truth however unless you have received Truth and that is Jesus Christ. My friend, Truth is Jesus Christ.
Whether you are a proclaiming Christian or not this message is for you
Is Suicide Forgivable?
Or to put it more blatant "Does God forgive someone who commits suicide?" I will answer your question by saying this, you are asking the wrong question.
The real question is this... will someone who is being led to commit suicide receive the New Life Christ has for them?
A person who is contemplating suicide still has forgiveness extended to them by God as long as they are alive because as long as they are alive they have the free will to receive the Forgiveness God paid for them to have through Jesus Christ and His shed Blood. They have the free will to choose and to make a decision.
The moment a person commits suicide is the moment that person chose not to accept God's forgiveness. You see God's forgiveness leads to transformation and life not to death and suicide.
For anyone to ask, "What if he asked God to forgive him before committing suicide" does not understand the True Forgiveness of God.
Let me break down the Truth right here and now. In the midst of a person contemplating suicide is Satan, the Sin Nature and Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit. God extends His hand of forgiveness to the one He died for so that person wouldn't have to die.
Many find comfort in thinking the last moments for someone who commits suicide include that person asking God to forgive them before the actual suicide. That doesn't bring anymore comfort or eternal security than someone who says, "God forgive me for what I'm about to do" and they rape a 5 yr old boy. We cannot have both death and life, blessings and cursing's. We must choose, and by the acts of many the decision is evident.
Again, God's forgiveness leads to Life and Transformation not to death and suicide.
Some will say, "oh but God knows what was going on in their head and He will still forgive them". I say to them, "My friend, the one who commits suicide literally sealed the door shut to God's forgiveness. They told God no.
Some may say, "People who commit suicide are not in their right mind." It is not about being in a right mind but a hardening of the heart towards God. No one commits suicide unwillingly. They were in the clearest of minds to make such a final decision.
"But didn't Samson committ suicide and God forgave him?"
Judges 16:28-31
Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!” And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left. Then Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.
After reading that text, did Samson committ suicide?
The answer is no.
Many in the church are using this Holy scripture to make God look like a liar and justify Suicide.
Samson did indeed die but not by suicide like many in error claim. Samson wanted to die as the strong warrior he once was before he was captured by the Philistines and had his eyes gouged out. Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines" not because he was suicidal but because he knew the only way to venge them for his eyes being gouged would be to have the entire temple collapse on them. No where in this passage does it state Samson was suicidal. He had a warrior mentality and wanted the Philistines dead even if it meant his own life.
To say Samson committed suicide is like saying the heroes that took over the plane from the hijackers on 9-11 committed suicide. We know they did not. They, to save the lives of many sacrificed their own lives for people they didn't even know. By overtaking that plane from terrorist who in a way gouged their eyes out saved the lives of many. There are people who might be in a situation that they will have to make a decision to either save the lives of others by sacrificing their own or save themselves and let the killers kill.
This is NOT SUICIDE OR SELF-MURDER it is heroism. Samson died as a warrior, not as a suicide victim.
If you have contemplated suicide there is a way out but it is not committing the act of suicide. Something does need to die but it is not your physical body but the sin nature that desires your destruction.
The Way out of suicide is by getting a brand New Life through Jesus Christ and receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. There is no other way
You must fully surrender your life to Jesus. Doing this allows the Lord to make you a new creation, save you, deliver you, heal you and lead you.
Let's go before the throne room of God together my friend and surrender your life to Jesus in exchange for the New Life He has for you.
Say, "Jesus, I, come before You, all of me. I am giving You my past, my present and my future.
Jesus, I am surrendering my entire life to You. Everything. In exchange for the New Life You have just for me.
I am accepting Your invitation to be born again and to have my name written in the Lambs Book of Life. I am saying yes to receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire and to be sanctified for Your use in this final hour. I am saying yes to every blessing, every gift and everything good You have for me. I am saying Yes to You Jesus. Make me into the woman/man of God you have called me to be. Thank You for saving me this day and leading me from this day on. I am Yours, forever. Amen."
